Contact
Contact
One address, several kinds of message. Putting the right word in the subject line gets your message to the right place faster.
This address reaches ARAC International. There is no contact form on this site, because a form that appears to work needs a service behind it and this site deliberately runs none.
Subject lines that help
- Correction
- An error in something published here. Include the page address, the sentence at issue, and what you believe is wrong. See the corrections process for what happens next.
- Accessibility
- Something on the site is difficult or impossible for you to use, or you need a resource in a different format. These are treated as defects and prioritized. See theaccessibility statement.
- Reuse
- A question about using or adapting materials. Most ordinary reuse needs no permission; see theTerms of Use first, and write if it does not cover your case.
- Session
- You are running a session and something in a guide did not work, or you need advice on adapting one. Reports of the moments that went badly are the most useful messages we receive.
- Question
- Anything else.
What to expect
- Acknowledgement within five working days is what we aim for. This is a small initiative, so treat it as a target rather than a guarantee.
- Corrections are answered, including when we conclude the page was right. If we disagree with you, we say why, with reasoning you can argue with.
- We do not add correspondents to any mailing list. Email you send is kept only as long as needed to deal with it and to maintain the correction record.
What we cannot do
- Adjudicate specific claims on request. We teach a method rather than running a fact-checking service, and a public education initiative that issues verdicts on contested claims stops being useful to half its audience. TheDigital Navigator is what we can offer instead.
- Rate individual news outlets. For the same reason, and because a rating substitutes our judgment for yours.
- Provide legal, medical, or financial advice.
